Do you love your enemies?
This concept seems silly, but Christians are called to do just that.
In Luke chapter 6, Jesus makes the point, “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.” In this passage, Christians are called to love, forgive, help those in need, and pray for enemies.
Friend, do you think you can love your enemies? Life is too short to hold grudges, plot revenge, or descend into anger and depression. God wants to free you from that.
John Wesley advised, ”If we suffer persecution and affliction in the right manner, we attain a larger measure of conformity to Christ,” Let your enemies see Christ in your words and actions.
