About Dr. Mike
Raised in the Rocky Mountains, Mike feels a call to the Provo / Salt Lake Metro area to be a Gospel presence in an underserved Evangelical North American missions context.
With over twenty-five years of marriage, Mike and his wife, Sharon, are devoted parents to their son, Wei. Beyond Mike’s roles in teaching, preaching, media ministry, and as a reserve Army chaplain, the couple actively engages in various local Utah ministries.
Mike has pursued various educational accomplishments, including a Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University, along with ongoing studies towards a Ph.D. at Dallas Baptist University. He has also obtained master’s degrees in Christian Education and Missiology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a graduate certificate in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary, and a Bachelor of Church Music Degree from Baylor University.
